Settling

Today, I meditated. I saw clients. I went for a long walk.

I cooked – sautéed shrimp and portabella mushrooms, fresh zucchini, squash, and cherry tomatoes.

Sir reassigned me the task I didn’t do. This time, I am to do it every other day for 10 days, and report back to him each time. I thanked him for giving me another chance to do the task and the extra support. This time, I will do it.

I settled on a logo for my website. There is still work to be done on it, but it will be done soon.

I’ve begun moving my posts about Sofia and Lucas to one page so people can read all of it without having to run around from post to post. I had forgotten how much I had written.

Maybe I’ll use this blog like a journal, just recording the things I saw, what I ate, what I did, mundane though it is. I’m feeling content, and that’s not bad.

Tomorrow is my birthday, and it’s maintenance day. How cool is that?

  1. Last week Valentine’s Day on a Weds, this week your birthday! That has to mean something!!!

Content is not overrated. It’s not necessarily heart pounding, but it’s only mundane if we choose it to be. I know it’s hard at times to be ‘just’ content. At least it is for me after feeling so much more- though I suspect it’s world’s away from how you felt last year in this day💕

    Have a wonderful birthday!

    • I know! The timing of these special holidays has favored me!

Content is really good and the more I allow myself to feel it, the better. I don’t feel dreadfully trapped and stuck anymore, so that’s amazing. And content is sustainable.

      Thanks so much!! 💜
