I’m in the middle of a frenzy of “What about me-itis.” I expect to come out of it sometime tomorrow and be able to talk about it or able to talk about something anyhow. At the moment, I’m feeling a bit bereft. Wandering off to brood and grieve.

In These Times
So you probably know that I live with my significant other, MP, my adult daughter, and two grands, an almost 8 year old and a just-turned 5 year old. Where-We-Live has not closed schools (yet) but spring break has just started and they're talking about staying closed for a least a couple of weeks longer. … Continue reading In These Times
A Bit Obsessed…
I haven't been able to quit reading about Covid19 and thinking about it. I'm not afraid that I'm going to get it. In fact, I have a hard time remembering that I'm in a high risk group. I'll read something about what people 60 and older should do and it takes me a minute to … Continue reading A Bit Obsessed…
How I Lost the Day
I missed posting yesterday. That's because my whole day was turned upside down. The night before, Monday night, I decided I was going to get some sleep for sure. So I took a dose of this prescription cough medicine with codeine I had still hanging around from a couple of years ago. What I had … Continue reading How I Lost the Day
PSA
I think this is a really good explanation of the concerns about Covid19. It helps me understand why we're worried and why different countries are taking the steps they are. The Three Phases of Covid-19 – and how we can make it manageable. How is the coronavirus likely to play out, how does it end, … Continue reading PSA
And A Frivolous Want
My grandson got a hooded blanket for his birthday. He is beyond thrilled with it, and I’m sharing the excitement. It’s so COOL! It’s got a dinosaur hood and mittens, and it sweeps behind him like a cape as he walks. I want one. But not the dinosaur. I went looking on-line and found this … Continue reading And A Frivolous Want
What I Need
I need to put the same energy I invest in this blog into my actual business website. You know? I come here and do some work every day. I feel comfortable here. I feel confident. I know that somebody - more than one - will read what I write. Sometimes, what I say really resonates … Continue reading What I Need
Today I Learned…
...how to do Instagram posts. Not exactly rocket science, but still. ...that Mucinex and Robitussun will get you through the day even if you feel like you have the worst ever cold/flu like thing. ...that you can drive a remote control monster truck down three steps and it will do a back flip, LAND on … Continue reading Today I Learned…
Dear Diary,
Did you have a diary? One with the cheesy lock and key? Yeah. That kind: I would get one for my birthday or Christmas, write in it every day for a week or so, skip a few days, or a week, write a bit, and then leave it for months. My entries were written in … Continue reading Dear Diary,
And Now I’m Sick
Not deathly ill. Just don’t feel good. Sore throat and such. I’m tempted to make some inappropriate comment about what it might be, but it’s probably not and it probably wouldn’t even be funny. So never mind. My grandson is racing his toy monster trucks repeatedly - and describing every move they make in great … Continue reading And Now I’m Sick
