What I Need

I need to put the same energy I invest in this blog into my actual business website. You know? I come here and do some work every day. I feel comfortable here. I feel confident. I know that somebody – more than one – will read what I write. Sometimes, what I say really resonates with someone.

And I come here and do this every day.

I need to carry this energy with me to work.

I’m in a much better mind space than I was when I started posted daily here. I have a much better sense of what I need to do and how to do it. And I think part of that is because I have this place – and you – to come to. Especially you, Roz – you’ve been like a consistent light. Someday, I’m going to write a post called “Ode of Appreciation for Roz.” But old friends and dear sisters and kindred spirits of every kind gather here.

I need to keep writing here, because I draw some energy and strength from being here. Sometimes, I need to write some fantasy because that feeds me too. But right now, I need to focus on bringing the energy I find here to work with me in the morning.

It’s good to know what I need.

  1. Hi Olivia, aww, thank you so much for your lovely words. I’m so glad you are in a better mind space and that writing here, and getting feedback here helps and provides energy for your business. Friends are a great source of energy and strength:)

  2. I agree. Roz is like my anchor on my blog. I’m going to start having dependency issues if I’m not careful.

It’s good that you feel this is a space that you can “count” on to keep coming back to. It’s also good to know what you need.

Sometimes I know too… it’s just hard transferring the enthusiasm I feel for one thing over on to something else that needs it too. 🙂

    • Yep, Roz is the best! And you are someone I count as an old and dear friend. 💜 It is good to have this space! And yeah. Hard to move the energy… But I sure appreciate you being here!
