Nora took Olivia by the wrist, and smiled at Sir Jon.”Let’s go into the small conference room and we can go over what services you want for your submissive.” Turning, she led the way down a short hallway and into a pleasant room. There was a desk and a couple of comfortable chairs to one side, with an end table between them. Sir Jon automatically took the larger chair while Nora settled herself in the second, smaller, chair. She still held Olivia by the wrist.

Awkwardly, Olivia glanced around the room, but there was no chair for her. She looked to Sir Jon, but he seemed to be absorbed by a large booklet of some sort that had been lying on the end table. A tug on her wrist brought her attention to Nora.

”It’s ok,” Nora said, “I know it feels a bit awkward just at first, not to have a chair, but you’ll get used to it. You can kneel right here beside me. You’re not actually kneeling to me of course, but you can think of me as representing Sir Jon’s wishes for you while you’re here.”

Blushing a bit, her mind reeling at the idea of getting used to not having a chair, Olivia did kneel, not quite at Nora’s feet, but beside her chair. Nora smiled, “There, that’s better, isn’t it?” She released Olivia’s wrist and turned her attention to Sir Jon.

He had finished perusing the large booklet, which was a menu of the services offered. “Just what I thought,” he said, “the #3 package. This looks good”

“Oh, I think you’ll be quite pleased with that!’ Nora said. “Let me just…” her voice trailed off as she pressed a button on the intercom resting on the end table. In a moment a distant voice responded, “Yes?”

“Betsy? Sir Jon’s sub is ready for you. We’re in the small conference room.” Then turning back to Sir Jon, Nora said, “They’ll be here in a minute to take her.”

“Take me…” Olivia protested, “take me where?”

Nora started to respond, but Sir Jon shook his head. He smiled at Olivia, “Did you agree to trust me and accept what I have planned here?

Biting her lip, dropping her eyes, Olivia stammered, “Well, yes, yes, Sir, I guess I did.” Then, remembering that she had quite blithely agreed, she corrected herself, “I mean, yes, of course I did, Sir. But -”

He shook his head. “No questions. Was that what you said? When I asked if you would obey without questioning me, did you say you would?’ 

She hesitated, looking at him. His face was so kind and wise, and she did trust him. And she knew he was quite serious about obedience and living up to what you promise. “Yes, Sir,” she said, slowly. “I did say that, and I stand by it.”

”Good girl,” he said, and she smiled with pleasure, even though she didn’t quite want to. She hated not knowing what to expect and sometimes she hated how the phrase “good girl” would flood her with pleasure whether she liked it or not.

A quick knock on the door, “Yes,” Nora responded, and the door opened.

I was going to talk about all those things that were on my mind yesterday, but they don’t seem important today. Maybe tomorrow. After all, I don’t have to get caught up in philosophical distinctions, (even though I’ve been nurturing the conversation) I only have to keep growing into more of who I am.
