And it’s Father’s Day!  So Happy Father’s Day to all the actual fathers i know, and to all the Daddy Doms too.  Happy Father’s Day to all the step-dads and the grandfathers, uncles, brothers and mentors who are stand-ins for dad.  And Happy Father’s Day to all the moms who are trying to do it all on their own.

My own dad was not actually a candidate for “goodfathers.org” or even Adequate Father of the Year, but that bothers me much less these days than it once did.  Ok, i’m 60, yes it took a long time to get here.  And maybe it helps that he died last year…  Anyhow.

i’m in a better mood today – this week, in fact – than i had been, and have done a bit better with exercise and getting things done around the house.  Or maybe i’m in a better mood because i’m exercising and getting things done.  In any case, life is pretty sweet today.

i’ve been a little bit disappointed in the Submission series that i started reading yesterday.  It reminds me of 50 Shades – wealthy Dom, somewhat conflicted about his Domliness, takes the woman from 0 to 100 right off the bat – contracts and such, and complete surrender.  In its favor, the woman is also wealthy, and really wants to be his submissive, even though she has no idea what’s involved.

Anyhow, so it’s not great literature, but it’s not bad one-handed reading, so there’s that.  It’s a continuing saga, so i’ll probably end up spending too much money on it, but what’s a girl to do?  i have to read the end of the riveting plot – yes, there is a plot beyond “will he lower his defenses and have a loving relationship with a submissive and will she be a good enough submissive to make that happen?”

And i’m seriously looking at self-publishing platforms for my writing.  Yikes.

In other news, i see that it is my friend, Jade’s, birthday today.  Hope you’re having a fabulous day!!!  No one deserves it more than you.
