In the light of day

“Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel ugly; your wholeness when you are broken; your innocence when you feel guilty; and your purpose when you are confused.”

-Alan Cohen

Finding my balance again – somewhere between “Perfect” and “Worthless” lies the vast realm of “Good Enough.”  i’m pretty sure i fit in there somewhere.  i’ve made all kinds of radical changes in my life over the years in order to build a life that fits my values.  This is just more transformation.

i’m back from my mini-vacation, which was lovely, and included just enough ocean time to help me feel centered again.  It’s good to see MP again, he was glad to see me, and so were my cats.  So it was a nice welcome home.

i have lots of activities and good times coming up, a lot to look forward to.  And right now today, i need to walk away from this computer and do some other things.

i’m thinking maybe i’ll do a series of posts on what i believe about D/s.  That sounds like fun, doesn’t it?  Coming attractions…

In the meantime, i hope your day is full of joy and lightness.
