Good things come to those who wait. That’s what they say anyhow. And sometimes, it’s true.
Almost 4 years ago, I stumbled across a picture used as a banner on pixabay. I was really taken with it. It had a purple butterfly on one side and some simple grass and flowers on the other, and it just appealed to me.
So I wrote a post about it – Butterfly Banner. I know, not the most original title, but it was a simple little post. I shared the picture and said:
“It needs some text on that blank spot there, and someday, there will be something that clearly belongs there. Until then, I’ll just leave it here and pop in to look at it from time to time.”
Years went by… I forgot all about the picture. But yesterday, James X Morgan commented on that post. You probably know James from his blog, Tall Tales, and as the co-author of Delilah and Master Graham. So it’s not surprising that he came up with the words the banner had been waiting for.
Butterfly beauty
Or butterfly-flutter tummy
Anticipation
And look at the banner now! Perfect, right? Some things are worth waiting for.

Good things do indeed come to those who wait. And the anticipation can be delicious too.

Such beautiful sentiment, especially for us submissive girls who can’t get enough of those tummy flutters ❤️
