It is my birthday this weekend! I am officially old. And that’s ok.
It’s a bit unbelievable. How can I be old? But apparently it happens to the best of us. And even to the worst of us, if we live long enough.
I know, young at heart, blah, blah, blah.
My latest life challenge is coming to terms with being old. So I’m working on it.
On a happier note, based on my natal chart, here’s an AI generated description of me:
Your Pisces Sun and Cancer Moon create an incredibly sensitive and empathetic emotional landscape. You feel things profoundly and have an innate desire to care for others. However, your Taurus Ascendant provides the grounding you need, giving you a calm, composed exterior that helps you navigate your emotional depth without getting lost in it.
You likely come across as serene and approachable, with a gentle yet steady demeanor. People are drawn to your warm, nurturing energy and trust you easily. Your artistic and imaginative nature is balanced by a practical approach to life, allowing you to bring your creative visions to reality in a tangible way.
You’re someone who values emotional security and stability but also craves deep, meaningful connections. Your sensitivity and compassion are your superpowers, but your Taurus Rising gives you the resilience to protect your heart when needed.
Of course, we all enjoy hearing good things about ourselves, so it was fun to get that description. And I think there is some truth to it. I’m also strongly influenced by fire signs, which add an element of exploration, adventure, and bold expression.
Anyhow. If you know me, you may or may not agree with all that. Or any of that. It’s fine. My word of the year is Rooted.
Today, I promise myself that I’ll continue to grow roots that connect me with myself, that make me more grounded and centered. I will worry less about what I’m going to do a year or two from now and spend more time on the present. I’ll explore the things that interest me, speak my truth, and let me life unfold. No more picking at the edges of it, judging, fussing, worrying. Or less of that, and more presence, more love, more joy.
Happy Birthday to me!

Have a very happy birthday weekend, enjoy and have fun.
Now, where does the line start to give birthday spankings??
