Staying Alive & Book Update

I’m pretty sure that many of my readers are old enough to remember the Bee Gee’s classic from the days of disco. “Staying Alive” is staying alive in my head, playing over and over today… Because I’m doing that – staying alive.

If you don’t remember it – or want a refresher – here it is:

Still feeling a ton of anxiety, part of it election based, and not sure that I’m going to feel better after tomorrow either. We’ll see. I know I’m not alone in my anxiety, and I imagine people on both sides of the political divide are feeling it too.

But I’m not here to talk about that. I’m not even here to talk about my sad little libido, which has apparently shriveled up and is hiding in a corner somewhere.

But I finished my first edit of the book I’m working on.

It’s true. Last night, I sent it to Angel Ackerman, with Parisian Phoenix Publishing, for editing. I’m going to publish it on Kindle and yes, it will be available on Kindle Unlimited.

My working title is Sir Even’s Training School: Naomi Begins.

I am cautiously excited.

    First off, I am NOT clicking the link, no need for that ear worm

    Secondly, I am Canadian and I’m anxious for what’s to come. I think much of the free world is .

    As for your libido, I’ve got nothing…if your steamy writing can’t bring it back, I’m not sure what can. BUT just remember how quickly and surprisingly life can change- yes for good or for bad, but last year at this time a freight train of libido came your way, it’s possible it can happen again!

    Now, onto your book …WHOOOO HOOO! CONGRATULATIONS!. I can imagine you’re, relieved, excited and terrified! I hope excitement is the paramount feeling.

    Lastly, I’m still around via email if you want a fellow, “howl at the moon” friend ( that’s what a friend of mine refers to *us* as).

      I’m glad you didn’t get sucked into clicking the link and getting stuck with the ear worm! Even though it’s STILL playing in my head.

      Thanks for sharing our concern for the political future… wish we weren’t such a train wreck.

      And you’re right – it’s easy to forget that things can and do change. Quite suddenly. I’ll try to keep that in mind. I do know my libido is still there somewhere, even if I can’t quite access it…

      Thanks for the congratulations!! I am having all those feelings, and excitement is at least pretty high on the list. So that’s good!

    Your writing is so enjoyable and I can’t wait for the day that more people will see it.
