The story I shared yesterday was inspired by a story I read on Fetlife by Mr. Rhythm. I read the story, started thinking about what it would be like to be the submissive in his story, and the next thing I knew, I had written Interruption: The Nap.

After I wrote it, I realized how influenced by his story I had been – the basic premise of it. I was able to get his permission to use that premise before I posted it – he hadn’t read it, just knew one of his stories had provided the inspiration for my writing. I was glad to have that permission – and then (after I posted) I realized I wanted to acknowledge his work. But didn’t know how he’d feel about being linked to my story.
