Yep. Packed up my bags and am spending a weekend in a motel on the beach. Not spending time with anybody, carry-out food only, just me, walking on the beach and soaking in the stillness. No, I have not met anyone interesting, much less kinky. But that’s ok.
Veterans Day
Remembering Veterans... “For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.” ~~ Elie Wiesel And this song, which always makes me cry, for lots of reasons. https://youtu.be/BugBwt2ESpo As you might guess, I am pretty much anti-war, but I'm not a true pacifist. I can support the people who are soldiers and recognize the need … Continue reading Veterans Day
For Jade
This is for my dear friend, Jade, who's going through a really hard time right now. If you can't see the image, it says: May you be surrounded by love, light, and beautiful vibes ~ Tam Willing
Celebrate
All over the world, there are people celebrating the election results here in the U.S. Church bells are ringing across Europe. People dancing in the street. Which led to a meme that said: And I have this song playing in my head: https://youtu.be/CdvITn5cAVc No, this isn’t the answer to all our problems and there’s a … Continue reading Celebrate
The Interlude, a Fantasy

One Month … Continue reading Connections – Part III {1}
Whoosh…

It feels much more structured than anything I've done in a long time. Which is good, or at least … Continue reading Whoosh…
Run Away Part 4
Phoenix closed the door behind her, smiling to herself. That had been an unexpected surprise. Sir Simon. Interesting. She half danced out onto her balcony, humming softly to herself. Lunch tomorrow. Nice. She wanted to know more about him. It was late and she wanted to be up early, so she told the ocean good … Continue reading Run Away Part 4
A Quote and Some Thoughts
This is a thing I forgot. In my search for the feel-good, I forgot this. “If you have looked hard at the manner of things, if you have surveyed the troubles of our time, and cannot discover a way forward, do not despair. Do better. Grieve: mount an altar to the sensuous feelings of loss … Continue reading A Quote and Some Thoughts
Post Vacation
Yes, it helped me reset. Yes, I feel better. It was not the best vacation I’ve ever had, and I was exhausted by the end of each day, but it was not the worst either. It was more like a series of mishaps and plans gone awry, an obstacle course of sorts, interwoven with delightful … Continue reading Post Vacation
