Just One More Day…

Just stopping in for a quickie – no, not that kind… {haha}

Here’s another terrific Christmas song – a new rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. You have to listen all the way to the end to appreciate it. {I think another blogger turned me on to this… if she or he sees this, please speak up and I’ll credit your brilliance in finding the good stuff!}

Plus really, the whole Vol. 2 of This Warm December is amazing. That’s where Zee Avi’s version of Frosty can be found, but lots of other musical gems too. For example, I love this:

Those are “Christmas Must be Tonight” and “Christmas Blues” – check them out on youtube or spotify or whatever works for you. You know, if you like non-traditional Christmas music. And some fine harmonica.

So we are behind on everything this year – the drive around got rained out last night, and tonight we had a couple of other things that were higher priority. So it looks like we’ll be doing it Xmas Eve, which is not bad, as long as it doesn’t interfere with early bedtimes for the children, right?

Also, our friend who was coming to celebrate with us hit some snags in his travel plans and won’t get here til Friday, so that’s been a disappointing part of the celebration. But we’re glad he can still come on Friday.

Finally, tonight is the second night of Hanukkah, so Happy Hanukkah to my friends who celebrate. πŸ’œ
